Age of Wisdom May Meetings

Yes, there are two Age of Wisdom meetings in May! The June meeting will be bumped up to May 21 to give Alex Becker, our seminarian intern, the opportunity to speak to the group before he begins his Clinical Pastoral Education in Orlando, Florida this summer.

Tuesday, May 7 | 1:30 PM | St. James Hall

Gus von Roenn, the Founder and Executive Director of Omaha Permaculture, will be our May speaker. Gus is the son of parishioners Greg and Carla von Roenn. His presentation is "Permaculture: Home and Neighborhood Sustainability." Gus will show us ways to enhance biodiversity through efficient, eco-friendly, home and landscape design. He will also talk about his non-profit's success in building community through urban gardening, while increasing healthy food accessibility.

Age of Wisdom Summer Luncheon

Zeal for Thy House Consumes Me: My Call to the Priesthood: A presentation by Alex Becker, our Seminarian Intern. Please join us as we celebrate the beginning of summer! Sendik's box lunches will be served, with a choice of ham, turkey, roast beef, or tuna sandwiches. The cost will be $5.
