We would be delighted to have you join our parish! It is our hope that this website serves as an introduction to Lumen Christi, but nothing compares with the experience of celebrating the Eucharist with us. We invite you to join us at Mass and discover what being the "Light of Christ" means to us.
To register at our parish, please download the registration form below and fill it out. Email it to [email protected], send it to the parish office or drop it in the collection basket during Mass.
Who should be registered? Members of your household who (1) live locally and (2) worship regularly at Lumen Christi, including non-Catholic members. Household members age 18 and above need to complete their own registration.
Transferring from another Catholic parish? Once you have registered with us, please notify your previous parish that you have transferred. Doing so is a big help to each parish's administrative efforts.
Can you be registered in more than one parish? That depends. If it is another local parish, no, you may not. Canon law states that you may register in an additional parish only if you maintain a residence in another out-of-town location.
Active Membership
Lumen Christi defines active membership based on four pillars:
Being formally registered at the parish
Faithful participation at Sunday Mass and holy days
Regular financial contributions
Being engaged in at least one volunteer ministry
While each pillar of active membership is important, faithful attendance at Sunday Mass and holy days is crucial, so that we can each grow in our relationship with Jesus. When we grow in our relationship with Christ, we will then see how that relationship will transform and inspire us to share the gifts we have been given with others and our community.
Currently each of these four pillars are being explored in depth through weekly bulletin reflections written by parishioners. These reflections strive to not only emphasize one of the pillars of active membership, but they also draw connections between the Sunday readings, so that we can live with more of a liturgical mindset.
