Catholicism 201Tuesdays (September 16 - November 18) | 9:15 - 10:15 AM | St. Cecilia Hall
Join us Tuesday mornings for a 10 week bible study called Lectio: Peter with Dr Timothy Gray through formed.org. This study will be September 16 - November 18 on Tuesday mornings from 9:15-10:45 AM in St. Cecilia Hall. Each week we will watch the video together, and then continue in reflection and discussion within our table groups.
We plan to order the participant study guides by September 1st, which will be $20/book preorder. Please register and let us know if you would like a study guide ordered for you. If you ordered a book: it will be available at the first class. You can pay online with the registration or bring cash or a check made out the Lumen Christi to the parish office or the first class.

About Lectio: Peter: Cornerstone of Catholicism
The character of St. Peter is both inspiring and confounding to many of us. How could a stubborn and impulsive fisherman become the "rock" upon which Jesus would build his Church? Bringing together biblical accounts, historical evidence, Church teaching, classical art, and personal insights, Dr. Tim Gray gives a fresh perspective on Simon Peter that is immediately informative and relevant to our lives. After all, if Jesus could bring out the very best in someone like Peter, then there is hope for the rest of us.

That Man is You!Fridays (Sept 12 - Dec 19) | 6:15 - 7:15 AM | Sts. Matthew & Mark
Men, mark your calendars. That Man is You! begins Friday, September 12 at 6:15 AM. That Man is You! combines Scripture, solid secular research, and a little fun to address the pressures and temptations facing men in our modern culture. It seeks to form authentic leaders who will be capable of transforming homes and society.

Friday Morning RootsFriday Morning Roots is a group for moms with children ages 0-12!
We will meet twice each month after the 8:30 AM Mass for community, formation & prayer. Each morning you can expect time for socializing (coffee & treats) & a chosen topic for discussion & prayer facilitated by Meaghan Turner. Littles are welcome (and expected!) playing at our feet. It will be a bit messy, but beautiful.- Meets: Second & fourth Friday (September-May) | 9:15-10:30 AM
- For: Moms with children ages 0-12
- Meeting Room: Sts. Matthew/Mark Room
- Cost: Free

And we'll go deep in very simple terms.

This group is for women in their 20s, 30s & 40s looking to grow in community and faith.
