As the Catholic Stewardship Appeal chairs for 2026, we are grateful for the spirit of generosity and commitment that so clearly defines our Lumen Christi community. This year’s theme of “Planting seeds, harvesting hope” captures the shared work we are called to do as faithful stewards of God’s gifts.
Through the Catholic Stewardship Appeal, our parish supports ministries that extend beyond our own community: forming future priests through our thriving seminary here in Milwaukee, strengthening Catholic schools, caring for the poor and vulnerable, and assisting parishes that lack the resources to meet their pastoral needs. These efforts require steady, faithful work, and bear fruit when we act together as one Church.
We are encouraged by the on-going participation participation of Lumen Christi parishioners. It reflects a community willing to trust that God will bring growth from the seeds we plant. If you have not yet made a gift, we invite you to prayerfully consider participating. Each contribution—no matter the size—cultivates hope and sustains vital ministries across the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. When each of us gives according to our means, the harvest is far greater than any one parish could achieve alone.
Thank you for your generosity and commitment to stewardship as a way of life. Together, we can ensure Christ’s mission continues to flourish—both within Lumen Christi and far beyond our walls.
