Did you know the Mequon-Thiensville area was once part of Quebec? Was the Mequon-Thiensville City/Town Hall really built on a gravel pit? Bob Blazich from the Mequon-Thiensville Historical Society will answer these and other questions with his talk, The Land We Are Standing On. There will also be an opportunity to see some of the photos from the archives of St. Cecilia and St. James. All are welcome to come to an informative presentation, dessert, and fellowship! For information contact Kathy Shields at [email protected] or (262) 512-8981.

Children (K3-1st grade) are invited to join us for Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 9:00 AM Mass on first and third Sunday of the month. Children will be dismissed before the First Reading and return after the homily to join their families. Children’s Liturgy of the Word breaks down the Word into language and materials appropriate for young children so they can understand what is being proclaimed at Mass.
