Today, Lumen Christi Catholic School unites with Catholic schools throughout the United States to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme, “Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community,” allows us to honor the impact a Christ-centered education has on our students, their families, and the larger community. As I write this letter, I do so with pride and gratitude.
I am proud of the long-standing tradition of excellence at Lumen Christi Catholic School. Our school is not merely a place of learning; it is a community grounded in faith, compassion, and service. Students are held to high academic and behavioral standards in a supportive environment emphasizing Catholic values and traditions. These values extend beyond the classroom, shaping their character and moral compass and enabling them to realize the full potential of their God-given abilities.
I am grateful for the many people who have made Lumen Christi Catholic School a bright light in our community. Our work would not be possible without the deep commitment of Fr. Matthew and Fr. Michael, our Deacons, parishioners, and parents. I salute the teachers and staff of Lumen Christi Catholic School for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and Faith formation, which continues to set our school apart.
For those of you who send your child(ren) to Lumen Christi, thank you for entrusting us to partner with you in your child's faith formation and academic development.
For those of you who support us with your time, treasure, and prayers, we are deeply indebted with gratitude for your passion for Catholic education.
For those of you who know someone who might benefit from a Catholic education, please urge them to contact us. We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year.
In a world of challenges, Catholic schools allow students to live out their faith while serving God and one another. Together, we are shaping the next generation of critical thinkers, compassionate citizens, and disciples of Jesus.
